* Kurt Donath, of Aberdeen Soldier and director of the independent film "Killer Deal" (winner of the Audience Award and Best Cinematography for the 48 hour film project in Miami 2007) and Extreme Delray and The Dream Factory announce that they are teaming together for the production of Lucky Streak and the Crime Fighters. This is Kurt Donath's fourth time as helmer, writer and producer. His cast includes, Amber Crawford, Austen Moore, Darlene Dinges, Tom Leeman, Nikayla Baldomero, Jan van der Baan, Rachel Galvin, Bryan Power, Richie Greene, Kimberly Jones, Leonard Alonge, Kerry Parks, Joe Lepore, Frank Mach, Shayne Leighton and Kasey Poteet. The Crew behind this production include; Assistant Director Amber Crawford, Director of Photography Jan van der Baan, and Editor Corey Dwyer. The Producers of the film are Kurt Donath, Tom Leeman, Jan van der Baan, and Corey Dwyer. ABOUT KURT DONATH AND ABERDEEN SOLDIER: Kurt Donath has been a South Florida resident since 1995. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, but raised in Los Angeles, California. Kurt made his stage debut as a ten-year-old child actor in the stage production of MacBeth at the Lee Strassberg Actors Studio in Hollywood, CA. About the same time, he started writing screenplays. At age 19 he met his mentor, George Clayton Johnson. Mr. Clayton Johnson is a revered science fiction writer having penned screenplays for the original Twilight Zone and classic films such as Logan's Run. Kurt studied with him for two years before moving to South Florida with his family. Kurt enrolled at the International Fine Arts College (now re-named Miami University of Art and Design) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film in 2002.
